Our veneers are made by a world class lab and technician here in Scottsdale, Arizona. Many dental offices will save money and send veneers to a cheaper off shore lab. That will never be done here. What does getting porcelain veneers involve?

Getting veneers usually requires three visits to complete the process. The first visit is when you meet with Dr. Nelson to pick the smile you want. Bring your favorite celebrity smiles so we can transform your existing smile into your dream smile using Dr. Nelson’s craftmanship and porcelain veneers. Your next visit is when the reshaping of the teeth occurs and is done by lightly buffing and shaping the surface to allow for the thickness of the veneer. This is the longest appointment of all and requires the craftmanship of Dr. Nelson at his Scottsdale office to have a great result. This appointment is many times done under sedation so you can simply relax during the procedure. A mold or impression of the teeth is taken and your temporaries will be made. Your temporaries will be made based on your preferences and be a test run for your final veneers.  

On the final visit, your temporaries will be removed and the teeth will be cleansed with special liquids to achieve a durable bond. Before finalizing anything, you will the have the opportunity to try out your new veneers and look at them in the mirror to make sure you LOVE them. When you give your approval,  the veneers are bonded on your teeth and a special light beam is used to harden and set the bond.

You will receive care instructions for veneers. Proper brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your new veneers.
